HE WAS A GAMBLER AND LAWMAN IN THE WILD WEST, INCLUDING DODGE CITY, DEADWOOD, AND TOMBSTONE. IN THE WINTER OF 1878, EARP WENT TO TEXAS TO TRACK DOWN AN OUTLAW AND MET JOHN “DOC” HOLLIDAY, WHOM EARP CREDITED WITH SAVING HIS LIFE. EARP MOVED THROUGHOUT HIS LIFE FROM ONE BOOM TOWN TO ANOTHER. WYATT WAS NEVER WOUNDED IN ANY GUNFIGHTS. HE TOOK PART IN THE FAMOUS GUNFIGHT AT THE O.K CORRAL WITH HIS BROTHERS VIRGIL & MORGAN, AND FRIEND DOC HOLLIDAY. THEY MARCHED THROUGH THE STREETS OF TOMBSTONE, HEADED TOWARD A CONFRONTATION WITH THE CLANTONS AND THE MCLAURYS GUNS BLAZED, AND MEN DIED. AS THE DUST SETTLED AND THE SMOKE CLEARED, VICTORY BELONGED TO WYATT EARP.
